Il 2 marzo 1997 due giovani parigini di nome Thomas Banghalter e Guy-Manuel De Homem Christo prendono i comandi di un giovanissimo show radiofonico dedicato ai dj set: l’Essential Mix di Pete Tong. Un paio di settimane dopo sarebbe uscito l’album che avrebbe cambiato per sempre il corso della musica elettronica moderna: ‘Homework’.

Nelle due ore a disposizione, i Daft Punk mettono in pratica tutto il loro talento, una “superior selection” tra funky, franch touch e premiere, preludio di una scena musicale che da lì a poco non sarebbe stata più la stessa.
